On Thursday, regional business executives received real estate pitches from local leaders, highlighting government-owned properties available for sale and development in Camden.

The meeting of the New Jersey Alliance for Action, a nonprofit organization that promotes the state’s economy, featured Camden’s community leaders presenting several of the city’s success stories and plans for new construction.

Camden Mayor Victor Carstarphen and Louis Cappelli Jr., director of the Camden County Board of Commissioners, urged the audience at the Salvation Army Kroc Center to consider investing in developments in the city.
